Dr. Bent is a pediatric orthopedist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She is the program director of the Non-Operative Pediatric Orthopaedic fellowship. Dr. Bent's clinical and research activities have focused on children with neuromuscular conditions, clubfoot deformity, and medical education. Her primary research has focused on promoting mobility in youth with neuromuscular conditions. She has served as the Primary Investigator on a RAPID/Academic Pediatric Association grant to explore the use of mobile app in adolescents with Spina Bifida. She is passionate about the ways pediatric medical devices have positively impacted her patients and open to innovation in this unique domain.
