Riello, MEng

Program Associate, Network and Partnerships

Bianca has a diverse range of experiences across engineering, venture capital, and healthcare innovation within medtech and digital health sectors. After completing her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of South Carolina Honors College, Bianca Riello went on to pursue her Master of Engineering degree from the University of California, Berkeley. During her time at Berkeley, she focused her degree in Medical Devices and through academic research, she and a team of engineers conceptualized and built a novel exoskeleton for remote rehabilitation. This device was funded by the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation, selected as the Winter 2019 Showcase Winner, and ultimately spun off into a startup where Bianca functioned as co-founder and CTO. Since then, Bianca has supported a diverse portfolio of early stage startups through positions with the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator, Type One Ventures, and currently the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (KidsX) and the Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP). What excites her is the innate challenge of innovation in healthcare. She loves the opportunity to strategize, break boundaries, and be on the forefront of technologies that can improve access to care, reduce healthcare costs, and overall provide a better patient and provider experience.
